“Know Your Floating Leaf Plants Webinar”

Lake Stewards of Maine will host a webinar titled “Know Your Floating Leaf Plants” on Thursday, October 19 via Zoom at 9:00 am.  

Learning plants by their floating leaves is a great for beginning plant patrollers to get started identifying aquatic flora. In this webinar, volunteers will learn the four invasive plants with floating leaves currently on Maine’s watch list, as well as several other common and easily confused native plants with floating leaves. Guests will also learn about how to confirm their findings, as well as how to report suspicious plants.
