Lake Stewards of Maine’s great work was recently recently referenced by Susan Gallo (Maine Lakes) and  Melissa Genoter (University of Maine) during the Maine Calling episode on 2024-04-03. Though the focus is the economic study Valuing the Economic Benefits of Maine’s Lakes and Great Ponds in the 21st Century from lead author Adam Daigneault, volunteers and the incredible work in monitoring and preserving the lakes is a crucial aspect of the discussion.
