Basal Rosette Plants

“Know Your Basal Rosette Plants Webinar”

Recording available

These plants, which feature leaves alternately arranged radiating out from a central base at substrate level, are numerous and can be confusing to invasive plant patrollers.

This program will teach volunteers how to recognize a basal rosette plant, identify native basal rosette plants, and determine native plants from invasive water soldier (Stratiodes aloides) a newcomer from northern Europe now found in the United States.
